>Tyquiengco Kids
The Tyquiengco family is another group that I love getting to work with. This was I think our third or fourth session together and its just a lot of fun every time. I brought my son with me on this session and I think him and Ty (the oldest boy) traded email addresses or something to keep in touch. I am out of the loop with new communication technology I am sure those 4 to 7 year old’s are using something I haven’t even seen yet. The joys of getting old.

Jackie is one my favorite clients to work with. Not only are her kids adorable, but she always has a ton of ideas for the shoots. There is a fine line when collaborating with a client. Other photographers have fell victim to this I know as well as myself. Before you know it you realize you are just taking photos that the client would take except you have $3k worth of equipment in your hands. (actually had a client ask is he could just take some photos with my camera halfway through a shoot.
Jackie and her family are exactly the opposite of that. She just has a ton of great ideas and then lets me go to work and trust she will like the results. Which so far has worked out. So far…

>Cute Kids + Creative Moms = Fun Christmas Sessions
>
Heather emailed me a few days prior to our shoot and wanted to know if I could fit her in on my extremely and thankfully booked schedule. At first I was a little aprehesive in adding more sessions to my December calendar. That is until she told me a few of her ideas. Seriously, how can I pass up the chance to photograph kids tied up with christmas lights. (come on parents you know that sounds tempting when you have gotten up to refill the juice cup for the 10th time and there are crackers crumbled all over your freshly vacuumed carpet…)
>Davis Family – Oceanside Pier
>I had been wanting to shoot at the pier in Oceanside for sometime now, so of course choosing the weekend of Thanksgiving was perfect. With everyone off of work and family leaving their frozen tundra’s of the midwest to visit family in SoCal, I mean really, how many people could be at the beach? (sarcasm)
Despite having to tell little children to stop playing and get out of the shot and shirtless hairy Europeans frolicking through the water in their speedos the lighting was amazing and the structure of the Pier was just awesome to shoot against.
>My Kids…
>
I think it goes without sayings, but pretty much any photographers children are pretty comfortable with a camera. I had over 500 photos of my daughter before she was even 24 hours old. My kids are drawn to attention via their bloodline and getting to capture them growing up with out any boundries is so much fun. Plus meeting their girlfriends and boyfriends for the first time will always been a fun for my wife and I….

>Diaz Family at Mission Trails

Despite finding out that Tarantella spiders live outside of pet stores, Mission Trails is becoming my favorite place to shoot.
>The Zoo Keeper and his pets – Paradise Point

Photo sessions with the Lovci kiddos are never dull ones. Add halloween costumes, hungry ducks, and what the little guy assumed was edible leaves makes a photographers jobs super easy. (the lion outfit didn’t work out as well as the giraffe, but I believe I got enough photos to show to his first girlfriend…)
>Amy & Fam – Carlsbad State Beach
>
There is something really special about twins. I have a couple friends with twins (Congrats Matt & Kristin!) and you can almost feel the bond between them by just watching them interact. The Vierra family was visiting Carlsbad on vacation and Amy contacted me through a previous client to do some family photos. It is always fun photographing, not only a super loving family, but watching Mom and Dad just enjoy their children and let their guard down.
